Hey guys. I just got a new phone number. I went on the Apple ID site and changed my phone number to the new one. This morning I received a text telling me my verification code for an Apple ID when I was sleeping. I did not attempt to sign in anywhere. I don't share my Apple ID, and no one has the sign in information. My account is setup with 2 factor verification. I'm already getting a few phone calls from people that knew the person with my new number. Is it possible this new phone number I got is linked with a different Apple Id? And they attempted to sign in to there Apple ID still linked with this number? I wish Apple had a way to see attempted sign sign ins.
