New Poly-unibody Macbook vs 24" imac

I currently own a 2.93ghz with 4gbs of ram, early 2009 iMac 24". I just ordered a macbook with 4gbs of ram from Amazon. Will I notice any performance difference between the iMac and the Macbook? I currently use the Mac for Adobe indesign and some photo editing.

It depends on the task you're doing, so nobody can really answer this for you. You won't notice a speed increase listening to your music or typing an email, that's for sure.
