Is there a method to look at "new posts" results while excluding the forum comprised of nothing but hatred between the same two dozen members and general political misery?

If not, then what is the business case for having a political forum here? I understand if it could be hidden during traditional searches, but when I click on "new posts", it seems that the results are overwhelming comprise of negative topics that put Mac Rumors in a negative light.

Thanks in advance.

You are most welcome. I sympathize, as I could not tolerate the forums without that feature (and its mate, the ignore user button).

Indeed. I don't understand why MacRumors allows that mess to exist. Plenty of other places to endlessly fight, create embarrassing content, while solving nothing. What is the upside for MacRumors?

Cynically, I would guess ad impressions. Were I less jaded I might consider it a well-meant (but misguided) attempt to create a honeypot - attracting all the garbage to one place where it can be ignored.
