Is there anything new in the features list? Four ear tips perhaps? I think mine “only” came with 3.

I’ve had my white ones (“Wings Fit Pro”) for a year and a half, and have been very happy with them. They stay in my ears, which isn’t true for AirPods.

The black looks nice, don’t really like the look of the orange, pink or grey ones.

Not huge on the Powerbeats Fit name though, Beats Fit Pro is more fun.

I kind of can't imagine this leak is true - especially for the H1 chip. Without a chip upgrade, this is literally not an upgrade. It's just a name change. Maybe if they come in at a much lower price because they are losing the PRO suffix?

A lazy upgrade from Apple? Unpossible!

What advantage did these have over simply buying AirPods Pro?

BFP fit better, stay more secure, have a punchier sound, and can take pretty much any 3rd-party eartip.

Purposely releasing H1 chip products in 2025 when H2 exists? And to think of all the Apple consumers that were holding off from purchasing H2 in anticipation of H3, which is reportedly no longer expected to be released in 2025 . Whats next? 2025 MacBooks that have M1's?

H1 was released in 2019 and by Apple standards a product that is 5 years old is considered "vintage" a product that is 7 years old is considered obsolete. With the H1 chip reaching the 7 year mark by next year I can't help but to smh at the hypocrisy

Tim telling Forbes: “Inventory is like dairy products, no one wants to buy spoiled milk.”

Probably why we're getting older chips being repurposed.

And not M1, but there is a rumoured low cost A18 MacBook coming.

This. I would love to have a "fit" version of the Airpods Pro 3 that doesn't fall as easily, but I'm not buying old tech.

Long-due refresh.

What actually is reported that might be new, besides colors?

I was interested in these when Apple posted the teaser as I have gotten in to running and had issues with my APP2’s popping out while i am running. But, if the specs are worse than the APP2, then it is not worth it. Unless they are priced very cheaply (<$100).

$199 with the inevitable discounts to $179 (and a year later $149)... they definitely are making sure this doesn't tread on the AirPods Pro 3 or the Powerbeats Pro 2 (which stink IMHO anyway.)
Same. I have 3 pairs. One for my car in case I ever want to stop at a park and go for a jog, or if I'm at a kids sports practice, and one for my backpack and one that stays permanently near my treadmill so I can hook up to apple tv to watch a show without waking up the whole house. I've been a fan of these for a while since airpods pro fall out of my ears if I move at all. I bought these over the past couple of years for $150ish. Sounds like I won't have any issue to want to upgrade.

It really is a Beats Fit Pro 1.1 ... the upgrades: 1) 12% smaller case 2) 30 hours of battery life vs. 24 3) 7 hours vs. 6 hours of battery life in the buds themselves 4) 4 sizes of ear tips vs. 3 sizes 5) adaptive EQ. That's it... all those things IMHO are for most people, totally unnoticeable or unused. The bigger improvements such as an H2 chip with better sound reproduction and a big improvement in active noise reduction and transparency mode, and wireless charging are apparently just not there.

Hell I would be ok with a "fit" version of AirPods Pro 2 (Beats Fit Pro = AirPods 1 and were a generation behind when launched) but this new version stays essentially an AirPods Pro 1 which the AirPods Pro 3 will be out...

Ive never seriously considered just buying those standalone attachable wingtips they sell on Amazon for AirPods Pro but now I might just get those for AirPods Pro 3 if these are all the upgrades we're going to get.

The standalone attachable wingtips actually work very, very well... BUT you can't put the AirPods Pro back into the case with the wingtips attached so you end up having to mess with them every... single... time... you remove... and replace... your AirPods. After a week you give up.

I agree with your overall sentiment, and it does seem absurd to not put an H2 chip in these. But apple considers something as vintage 5 years & obsolete 7 years after it was last sold, not after it was introduced.

Maybe the AirPods Pro 3 released today will have wingtips and look like the Powerbeats Fit and thats why this update is so underwhelming... I kid, I kid (but I wish.)

My thought is I only need them for running, so if I stick them in my gym bag it can just become part of my gym routine but maybe thats wishful thinking!

fair enough, I'm one of those folks who AirPods Pro fall out of my ears just sitting quietly so when I tried to "force" them to work for me I had to use the wingtips but it wasn't worth it. They do work however and will secure them well. For me unless this leak proves wrong I guess I'll keep using my Beats Fit Pro till they break then upgrade to Powerbeats Fit (I'd try something else, but they fit so well for me) but Apple/Beats could have gotten me this year with a H2-> better sound / ANR and a wireless case.

Honestly this is not a new version, this is just new colors added. It’s like they are purposefully trying to destroy the Beats brand at this point which makes no sense at all. They are going above and beyond to have consumers save money because no one will honestly buy this with other options.
People think I'm crazy when I say this but I firmly believe Apple is intentionally sandbagging the Beats brand because they want the AirPods Pro to be the premiere brand and it really pissed off the AirPods team when they were being recommended over the AirPods Pros at Rtings and Wirecutter when they were both current. The rivalry between the teams is an open secret and it's hard to validate going this long without an update and then finally "updating" them with five year old technology.

Obviously there are lots of people who are just fine with them, but I literally don't know a single person who *doesn't* have this experience with APP. It's just so maddening to me that Apple has a design that doesn't work for a significant portion of the population, owns a brand that makes a good fit alternative, and then won't invest in the alternative brand for whatever reason.

Like so many of you, I'd buy a new set of Beats Fit Pros in a second if they had just updated to H2 and added a wireless case charging. This is just petty and embarrassing.

Unfortunately, there was nothing new about the PowerBeats Fit at today’s Apple Event. 🙁

Fingers crossed we’ll hear something in the next few days. 🤞

One of the wingtips on my 3-year-old Beats Fit Pro snapped off about a month ago. I’ve been tempted to just replace them with another pair, but I held off once the rumors started swirling about the PowerBeats Fit. Glad I waited...at least up until now.

That said, if the leaks are true and the PowerBeats Fit won’t bring a new chip, better sound, or wireless charging, I’m starting to think maybe I should just grab the PowerBeats Pro. My only hesitation is the ear-loop design. I really like how the Beats Fit Pro sit in my ears without feeling bulky.

Has anyone here made the switch from Beats Fit Pro to PowerBeats Pro? I’d love to hear how the comfort and “stay-in-place” factor compare.

You guys think there will be a new firmware update for these beats then? Powerbeats pro 2 were forgotten so badly, crazy that apple just ignored everything

I have one earbud in when cycling, and the stems get caught on my helmet straps constantly, pulling the APP out of my ears. I want something that doesn't protrude out of my ears. Also, the click button controls are much easier to use on the Beats products.

It is hard to imagine that we wouldn't get any of the 3 non-rumored points you mentioned; but we shall soon see.

The Fit still satisfies a nice market segment with wingtips/ear-fit and Apple ecosystem.

Beats Fit Pro already have 30 hours of battery life with the charging case and the earbuds themselves get 7 hours with ANC off. Also they support Adaptive EQ.

So the only actual differences are:
1. 4 ear tips vs 3
2. 12% smaller charging case
3. Slightly more rounded design to the earbuds
