Makes sense to me. Regarding the iSkin: Does it seem especially bulky when it's on? I'm wondering whether there's enough space between the keyboard and the screen when it's closed with it on w/o having the screen touch. I'm looking to get the clear one. Does it diminish the illuminated keyboard's backlight any? I've been looking for some impressions on it. Thanks.

No it doesn't diminish the backlighting of the keys. I have the clear one too. They're super thin. I also like how typing becomes quieter which doesn't matter most of the time but I feel more respectful of others when I'm not clicking away loudly. When I have both the iskin and the screen protector inside and close the lid, I don't notice any problems. It latches fine. If it affects anything it's minimal. E.g. when I have both on and close the lid, the problem I have with the slight gap in the front right corner goes away; everything seems more even. Strange. But anyway when I take them out and close the lid, the gap problem is back. I'm sure this isn't helping you much - probably only confusing you!

What I'd like to know is this: if I want to disinfect my laptop - the parts I was touching when sick such as the power button and scroll pad area - what should I use and how should I apply it? I don't want to spray Lysol on the laptop of course. I have alcohol pads but what if they take the paint off?! Any suggestions?
