Maybe you could try Samsungs support line, or a Samsung printer forum for assistance. I doubt you will get much help from an Apple Computer forum.

I'm assuming your running OS 10.3 or later...

We've run into this issue with Ricoh equipment. In our case, the issue was that they only supported the print function for Macs and didn't produce a scanner driver.

But yes, Samsung support is definitely the way to go.

Is the printer connected directly to the computer? Printers attached to print servers cannot scan. I went nuts trying to figure out why my scanner wasn't working until I found this out.

in order for ANY scanner to work, you MUST have a TWAIN module that supports the device, either built in as part of the driver package, or as a seperate plug in file........

Does Samsung claim that your model is mac-compatible, in the specs or somewhere on the box ? If so, then the drivers linked to above should do the trick 😛
