I just visited the Apple online store and saw the web page shown here (I tried accessing it repeatedly but the result was the same).

Maybe the Apple store is being updated for the new iPod?

ProMac, anyone? :p

Or is this a routine maintenance thing?

Never thought of posting that in "Mac basics and help". :D I noticed the web page, searched for what I felt was an appropriate forum and posted. :p

Anyway, the store is up now - and there's nothing new.

Yeah, people get pretty excited and start new threads all over the place. I think I counted 3 or 4 :).

Oh, and the new thing was Remote Desktop 3, which doesn't help my mobile video needs at all.

Could be Steve Jobs running the finalized version of Boot Camp using a Gold master of Leopard on the yet to be released 64-Bit Intel Mac Pro Dual Core Quad [8 "Kentsfield" Cores] and the new 50" Apple Cinema HDTV Display hybrid.

I'm serious...

:p

Don't tell me that was the reason they showed that web page to me. :D

I alternate between Windows XP and Mac OS X - Windows XP is for official work, Mac OS X is for personal use (ok, occasionally Windows also gets used for web surfing and posting to MR ;) ).

If you notice well, I have the Noia eXtreme theme for Mozilla Firefox that makes most of it look like the Aqua interface (with the flowing progress bar, neat buttons and all). :) I use a similar theme for Mozilla Thunderbird too.
