A long standing member not known for creating havoc around the forums is being called a troll by someone who seems to have a mission in life to demean most anyone? I don't think so.

Obviously the OP commented on the article which further clarifies that no one is trolled here by MacRy.

Your words would mean a lot more to me if you were on his ignore list. :D

He claims to have me on his ignore list yet he changed his signature to who he'd buy a beer for after I changed mine. :D

Bob laughs at your Trolling comment....

A puppy is not easy to photograph in front of an iPad with an iPhone! I don't appreciate either of those things being bitten and mauled :)

Had a real breakthrough this evening. The saying "NO!" thing sharply hasn't worked at all but my wife discovered that if you calmly and quietly say "Leave" in a nice voice then he does. Admittedly it has taken quite a few tidbits to encourage that behaviour but it has definitely worked. He's as smart as a tack this one!

What can I say? Very good, and very funny.

What is 'nice' is the action of the OP and his wife, and the dog in question is really cute; to the OP: I hope you have a long and happy companionship with him and that you really enjoy your time with him. And, as for Bob himself, well, despite the frightful experiences he had to endure at the outset, he is one very lucky dog. Good luck with it all and very well done to you both. ;)

Thanks for all of your well wishes and kind words. Little Bob is going to be a brilliant addition to the MacRy family. He went for his first inoculations today so soon he'll be let loose on the general public.

Thought you all might like a Bob update a month later......

He's doing really well. He's had all of his inoculations and is now going out for long walks in the countryside. He has loads of energy and is a very loving and smart little fella. Me and Mrs MacRy have fallen for him big time and he's bringing us a lot of joy. He starts obedience classes tomorrow for six weeks to get him socialised with people and other dogs.

He looks really cute but he is currently asleep on my lap and farting like a trooper. He's got an arse like a cemetery vase!

Wow, that's quite the change.

Now if you could perhaps provide some scale, so that we might better understand how he can sleep in you lap so easily.

;)

Damn. I'm not a dog guy but that puppy is absolutely adorable. I'm glad you've taken such great care of him. He really looks amazing now, very happy and healthy. Good on you.

We took ours to vet eventually because he seemed to have chronic gas problems. Changed his food several times etc, but nothing worked.

It's still kind of funny though, once he walked in from outside, decided he had a massive itch behind his ear so sat down to give it a good scratch with his hind leg. After each scratch he let one rip.

Machine gun farts...lethal.

Bob update. Took a few pics whilst out and about yesterday and today.

He's a lovely little fella and the biting is definitely getting better. He started obedience training classes a few weeks ago and can now sit, stay, down, roll over, come and wait on command. If I could just teach him to heel now he would be star pupil :)

That is one hell of a transformation from the original post and as i said in my earlier post you obviously gave him a shed load of love and attention because he looks great!!!

I love the 4th picture in the last batch! Bob looks so proud to be with you!

Hats off to you for all you have done for him :):)

Thanks :)

He has changed loads since we first got him. He's so much more confident and happy. Still going through the terrible toddler period though!
