I won't get into the long story; but I was very happy to see this feature on my iPhone and iPad - and recovered quite a few songs which had been lost due to a computer crash a few years ago. I can't quite remember though if I made a new iTunes account or just changed the e-mail for my current one - as even though I have e-mail receipts dating back to pre-06 on my old E-Mail (and first Apple iTunes account, which I can't log into) I can only see my purchases from 2009 and above on my new (or just E-Mail changed) account.
So does this only work with more recent purchases, or will I indeed keep having to try jumping through hoops to get access to this old account (it's AOL, which is making it harder...)
