I have the standard 2GB of RAM in my 13" MBP 2.26GHz. I'm contemplating 4GB of RAM and I want to know the best option. MacSales has 4GB for less than $70, is a cheaper option available? Thanks for the help; it's appreciated.
Have a look at crucial, I always find them cheap. Even if you don't want to buy a product from them, run the system checker to make sure you buy RAM which will work with your mac.
OWC and Crucial are the best. Both are around $64.99, you don't want to buy something that's cheap and possibly not compatible. Stick to these two brands and you will not have a problem.
Why does that matter if it's the exact same RAM that *is* guaranteed by OWC? If you get the right type of RAM, there's your compatibility guarantee right there.
