Is it me or is it pricey from the Apple store?

I found this and for $130 I can get 2GB which would boost me up to 3GB...

... is it easy to install (I've opened PCs up before, not iMacs) and is there any difference between the RAM on that site to the Apple store?

Yes my friend, you are correct. Apple RAM is extremely expensive. Check out Curcial.com ..... it's not very cheap but it is very good ... :)

Installing ram in the iMac involves removing the panel from the bottom of the iMac and slotting it in. As far as I know there are only two slots, so you may have to remove the existing ram.

My personal preference is to get RAM from otherworldcomputing.com. They've never let me down, and have great customer service.
