that picture is from a very very very old rumor that stated the iPhone 3G would come out in multiple colors... I believe there's pictures ofa blue one and a green one as well...

OP: That would take about 10 minutes (maybe not) to fake with Photoshop. If it wasn't that, it can easily be done by one of those companies that charge you $5,000 to paint your phone.

That's really expensive. I was thinking that cases make up for the actual color you really want on your iPhone.

Aye, colorware. That's it. $150 paint job for a $200 phone. Considering how clumsy I am, there's NO WAY I'd pay for that. As for the original picture, it looks like the iPhone 3G promo photos that were just photoshopped.

I would love to pick up a (PRODUCT RED) iPhone, but this ain't it; probably just a colorware version. Unfortunately, Apple usually reserves the RED line for low capacity models, and there's no way I'm going back to 8 GBs.
