New Refurbs on Apple Website!!

refurbs come in brown boxes.

Not always. Beginning January I bought 2 Mac Pros from the Apple Refurb store.
One came in a brand new Mac Pro carton;
the other in a brand new PowerMac G5 carton.
Didn't notice it until packing them away.

Both cartons I could swear had never even been opened — although to get the Mac Pro into the G5 carton I guess they must have. 😛 Foam padding and inserts all immaculate.

Both had a label stuck on: CERTIFIED RECONDITIONED

This is in the UK though. So I guess YMMV. 😉

Wow. They have a lot of MacBooks on there today. Usually it's just a few.

Definitely. The Core Duos vanished within an hour or two. The 15" MBPs always disappear while the 17" don't get any love haha.

i dont even know why i still check that damn refurb site, i just got my macbook from there a few days ago

i guess its just fun to watch how fast they disappear and try to find any other ridiculously good deals that might come along haha. i need to stop checking it

Haha, I check too. Maybe to see if there's any price drops but I doubt it..🙁
