New releases for today?

Does the App Store usually start showing new apps for the day in the release date lists by now? I don't usually pay that much attention to this, but I had a new app released yesterday (with a release date of today) and I noticed that no 11/13 apps have appeared in release date lists, although there are some with that date in the store (e.g. mine). Is this normal?

EDIT: Disregard, the store seems to have updated.
