Every now and then when using "screen sharing' and to remote in to my Mac mini everything is ok till I switch desktops (multiple desktops).

'Active' transfers don't pause imminently, but wait a bit, then they do.

If on the same desktop, then all is ok, even if windows are in front.

If this the best way to share/transfer files remotely ? or is there a better way..?

Also, no matter what resolution I set when connected up physically, it is never full screen remote on my MBP. When I take it Full screen, i see black bars either side. Trying to adjust this remotely, under display, doesn't do anything.

So, either use screen sharing or something else that can handle full screen.

For file sharing, I use dropbox, it syncs the files (in the dropbox folder) automatically.

For remote access I use gotomypc, I pay for this but I also use it for my work connection. You can use logmein and teamviewer which are free for personal use and are better more efficient for remote access then screen sharing imo
