NEW rMBA - What would compel your purchase in a 2nd gen?

Like many other fans of the MBA line here... I was excited, and then disappointed with the new rMBA.

If all things being equal... what would be the minimum (1 or 2 only) things that would compel you to buy this new rMBA but 2nd generation version ?

(If you are already buying this rMBA gen 1... maybe say what compelled you to buy it)

I’d even pay £2,000+ for it, just not to have to use the TouchBar.

I think it is safe to assume that rMBA is not a first generation product. Why? Apple already polished all the complexities in their other products: sub-10W CPUs in small enclosures and companion system (T2) in latest MBP.
