New rMBP 13" - My Biggest Complaint

I just opened my new 13" rMBP, and compared it side by side to my 1 year old MBA. The one thing that is bugging me the most is the fact that I am losing so much real estate on the screen, both vertically and horizontally. I love the retina HD screen, but I'm wondering if I made a mistake and should keep the MBA?

Is there anything I can do to fit more on my screen?

Yup that seems to work. So all the way to the right and I get even more real estate. Gotcha. I'm digging this now.

Hmmm.. Resolution may BE the Solution!!

1440x900 vs 2560x1600 ~ I think the Pixel People are just Smaller on your 'real estate'..

I looked at that setting before posting, but I assumed "Scaled" would stretch my screen a bit for some odd reason. Either way, thanks for making me like this laptop! That's just about my only gripe so far. Still not sure how I feel about the heftier weight, but everything else is superb.

You're not supposed to stare at the grid! Your retina has its own image retention
