Just changed my dying router for a trendnet TEW-812DRU. It resolved my weak signal and disconnection issues, but now I have a strange issue.
Let'S say I start a few downloads in JDownloader and limit my DL speed to half of my maximum bandwidth. With my old router I could browse the net using Safari and never notice any slowdown.
But with the new router there's often a very long pause (10-30 seconds) between clicking on a link and the page opening. If I click and click and click it ends up hooking up faster. I say hooking up because as soon as the page starts to load, it goes as fast as usual.
Is there a setting I can change on the router?
