New Safari 6.1 install = freeze, beachball

Just downloaded Safari 6.1 frok MAS, and every time I launch it, it just hangs, freezes, beachballs, whatever you want to call it. I'm still on ML 10.8.5.

Anyone else having this issue?

If it's an extension, how can I find out which one if it won't launch?

OK I think it was a safari addition I had called "Glims" - uninstalling that using this:

... seems to have rectified matters! 🙂

May be a tip for others who might have the same problem after installing 6.1

Same here. Locked up and i had Glims. Took it off and can now launch.

Edit: The current version of Glims doesn't have this problem.

Does that mean I'll lose all my GLIMS settings or will they be saved somewhere? I have lots of Search Engine shortcuts set up.

Can I then install the new GLIMS?
