As Safari allows tabbed browsing, I'd love a feature like Opera's open previous session. Thats the 1 thing I miss about opera, accidentally closing all my tabs, and being able to re-open them all when i restart the program.

I just cant bring myself to use Opera on the Mac. On the PC its easily the best browser available (in my opinion of course). Firefox seems really slow to load on my mac so thats not a viable option.

Is this something anyone else is hankering after?

Yeah, that would be great. In the mean time though, you can prevent the problem with Taboo, which warns you if you try to close a window with multiple tabs.

Edit: Taboo is a Safari plugin, not a browser. Just for clarity's sake.

Isn't that what history is for?

Although, I have to admit, it does sound like a nice feature....

Have you ever had 15 windows open and accidentally closed safari? History helps you get them back, but its tedious. A preventative feature (Firefox has this too) would be nice.

Yeah if it wasnt for Safaris wonderful history, then I'd never use Safari :)

But like grapes911 says, if you got a bunch of tabs open - like, for example, when going thru each forum on MR to find threads you want to read. Which I do regularly.

Taboo is a great idea, although I can see it getting annoying when you genuinely want to close :p And at work we are still using 10.2.8, which is rubbish.. Cant even use Exposé. Man I love how Macs integrate accents using the alt key!

I'm never happy :D
