I believe the current one has a blank background, can't be 100% sure as my camera roll has a load of pics in it.

The current empty camera roll has a white background with a gray iPhoto-like picture in the background with "This library is empty" or something written under it.

Thanks for that. Oh well i guess we will all see for sure in the hopefully not to distant future. Getting itchy for a new beta build now to see what changes, hopefully won't have to wait too long.

I don't have a screenie for an empty camera roll but I have one for an empty "video" section within the iPod app..

As you can see it uses the same terminology. (this is 2.2.1)

I sooo anticipate Apple adding ALL content to the iPhone iTunes store including video, movies, tv shows, etc. It is just a matter of time! :D

I can confirm that the battery percentage is a simply boolean variable in a plist file - I will find exactly which one if someone wants me to.

I first had it when I restored my iPhone to 3.0 and then restored from a backup of my jailbroken 2.2.1 and then when I decided to restore again without restoring the backup, I spent a while searching through the plists and eventually found it in (IIRC) com.apple.springboard - it's just something like SBNumericBattery, and that alone is enough to enable it.

You're exactly right, but the Boy Genius Report is showing that it's now a toggle switch on the Usage page. Changing that boolean won't make a toggle switch show up in preferences. These screenshots are either fake, or it's coming in the next beta build... which will probably come out Friday or so.

I just hope they will release a new iPhone this summer, I need to upgrade my 2g phone with cracked screen.

My fault

I read the argument... but didn't pay much attention to the pictures. It would make a lot of sense giving the option if they have gone to all the trouble to make a system that displays it.

Yeah and considering the fact that they've actually change the design of the percentage indicator... I kinda figured it was coming as a user option soon. It would have been pointless to change the design of something that was always hidden from the user.
