I ordered a 42mm Space Gray Black Sport (Sorry, I don't know all of the abbreviations!) on May 14th. I first had the "July" shipment estimate, then on 5-15, I got 5-7 weeks (June25- July 10). I wasn't sure if I wanted the 42 or the 38, so I ordered the 38 on May 18th with a 3-5 shipment estimate (June 17-25).

I, like all of you have been checking non-stop. I just noticed that in the last hour or so, my dates changed.

The 42 got bumped back slightly to June 30-July 7 and the 38 got bumped up one day (16th-22nd).

Apparently, there is "some" movement for the later orders.

I ordered the same on May 7th and my date just changed within the past hour or so as well. It was June 24 - July 8 and is now June 26 - July 2. They didnt really bring it in, just made the window smaller...

If I am waiting until June 30th, I think I am going to buy in the store. Why would they set a retail store date in June when they are pushing back the shipment dates for some to basically July...

What a tease. I just got an email from Apple telling my watch would be in my hands shortly and asked me to schedule personal set up....

What's funny is, even my UPS driver who delivered my 42mm WSB yesterday was curious about when I ordered. :roll eyes:
Everyone is tracking this stuff!

I ordered a 38mm SG on 5/20 around 1:20 pm CST and my order showed Available to Ship: 3 - 5 weeks; Delivers: June 19 - July 2.

This morning sometime it was updated to - Available to Ship: 2 - 3 weeks; Delivers: June 16 - June 22.

I still have a 42mm SG ordered on 4/10 that was originally Available to Ship in June, but later changed to Available to Ship June 22 - June 29.

I have yet to get any email from Apple asking me to make an appointment or anything like you did. Here's hoping we'll see some more movements in the 38mm.

I have actually gotten two of those emails for what that's worth. I really need a new running watch and held out for this. I f'd up and should've ordered it right away, like I do everything else Apple. I am trying to avoid Ebay or Craigslist but the temptation is there to just buy it and move on. Just not sure if I can justify an extra 200.00 for a watch...My luck, I'd make the purchase and we'd all get a huge shipment update....Maybe I should take one for the team...

Same thing happened here. Ordered 42mm SG Sport on May 2, and on May 15 the details were updated to 5-7 weeks with a delivery range of June 23-July 8.

As of today, it now says 4-5 weeks, with a delivery date range of June 26-July 2.

As production ramps up they must have a better idea of the output and when different order dates will ship, hence the narrower delivery date ranges that we're seeing.

What concerns me is my order that got pushed back...Im chatting with an Apple "Specialist" now

Same here.

42M SS w/ WSB - Ordered on 5/21;

Original dates were 4-6 weeks (June 29-July 13)
Now: 4-5 weeks (June 30-July 7)

I guess its because its the end of the week and it shifted a week.

They have narrowed a 2 week window down to 1 week by trimming it at both ends. The problem is this puts the soonest date that you can receive your watch further away, 3 days longer for most of us. This most likely reflects a more accurate delivery estimate based on more accurate data.

However I believe we will have our watches before then.

The Apple specialist claims that no changes were made to my shipment date. Hopefully, it stays close to what it is now or sooner! If it goes until July, I put myself through all of this because I think we'll all be able to get them in a store pretty soon. Apple denied that as well.

My 4-5 week estimate is June 30-July7. Both of those dates are past 5 weeks anyways.

My shipment date changed as well! My expected delivery was originally June 5th - 18th, now it's June 11th - 17th. :( I was hoping I would get my watch sooner than the 5th.

Guy I work with ordered a 38mm SS BSB for his wife's birthday yesterday (5/21). The shipping estimate was June 2-9. Today he got a notification that it shipped today and will be delivered on Tuesday 5/26.:)

My theory is the important estimate is the "Available to ship" range not the "Delivers" dates. I posit the available to ship is actually based on your order date and the delivers date is just a meaningless easy target for Apple to beat and, in the event of a delay during preparation or shipping, provides some wiggle room.

I'm testing this theory with my order made on 4/18. Originally I had "June" and on 5/14 it changed to ships 5-6 weeks and delivers June 22-29. I'm saying, based on my order date, I should be going to PFS within the next 2 weeks and their delivers date means nothing.

We will soon seen if I'm right:confused:

I ordered my 42mm ss with bsb on the 24th April (in UK) and was expecting delivery late June. Just got an email to say it has been dispatched and will be delivered on the 26th of May. Can't tell you how pleased I am about this.

I don't agree, I don't thing the week range is based on order date, it is an ever changing number. In any case, apple is being smart and being extremely vague providing contradictory dates. The reason they do this is so that they can say they met targets and so that it's hard for customers to complain.

This is so messed up. Guys who ordered on April 10th still don't have their watches. I ordered a 42 SG BSB on April 30 and my delivery window is 6/26 - 7/06

I don't think my date windows have changed at all... I have four ordered from the last week of April through the first week of May.

42mm has been in much greater demand than the 38mm hence its much easier to get. Apple must of overestimated the demand for the 38mm. The model you ordered seems to be one of the hardest to get based on what I've read on these forums.

Hang in there...it's worth the wait. Hopefully your delivery window will improve!

I got the same thing for 38 sg. I contacted apple to voice my displeasure of an apparent slip in shipping window shortly after a report about them releasing to the stores in June. Of course there was nothing they could do about it but I wanted to let them know I wasn't happy.

Hello!
I ordered the 38mm Soft Pink Modern Buckle on April 27th. Shipping was always July until yesterday when it changed to 2-3 weeks (June 9- 16th) and this morning changed to 1-2 weeks (June 1-9). I'm like a kid at Christmas at the moment! Can't wait!
