Is there gonna be a new design for the iMac? I wonder if all those rumors for silicon Macs, will adhere to the iMacs as well! šŸ˜‰

Fresh? Itā€™s st least 8 years old. Personally I have a 27ā€ mid 2010 iMac which is the thicker version, do that design hoes further back than a decade!

What do you mean?
I mean I literally hand write notes to myself overtop the black bezels (ie. "Call Mom, you horrible son!"). Mostly just on the top and bottom bezels. A few years ago I cracked the glass on the screen (2013 27-inch). I figured at that point that the iMac didn't owe me anything more, and I didn't really owe it anything, so why not "hack" the design. We've been living in that relationship since.

Some rumor Twitters claim the ~24" Apple Silicon iMac will look like an iPad Pro.

Of course, they also claimed it would ship back in March, so... ;)

I wonder if they will let us install upgraded RAM in the new machines? Everyone loves that feature now, so they will probably discontinue it!

I wonder what Apple is going to do with its AS iMacs next year. Some possibilities:

1. Keep both small (4k) and large (5k) iMacs, but make both chinless and with narrow bezels.
2. Make only the small (rumored 24 in) iMac, and make a larger size (whatever that is) exclusive to the iMac Pro only.
3. Offer a 32 inch 6k iMac with the same resolution as the Pro Display XDR.
4. Make 6k exclusive to the iMac Pro.

Ready to buy a silicon iMac .

given the glimpse of where Apple is going wi5 silicon, Iā€™d have to be forced into buying an Intel IMac. (Not that there is anything wrong with them)

Iā€™m hoping that Apple is saving the Si IMac for an ā€œM2ā€ debut.
