The TX series has a carbon fibre shell.

I was looking at this yersterday, but the OS is crap and the CPU is horrible.
I wish Apple made a nice G4 like this (and with camera).

Camera might become reality, with that new apple laptop camera patent... Still a rumor though.

I would really like to see Apple produce a laptop with hardware specs like this.

Particularly the widescreen display and small form factor, but with an embedded GPU instead of the Intel integrated stuff.

Widescreen widescreen widescreen Apple please widescreen widescreen... :D

Frankly, I'm expecting the widescreen display to come along with the intel switch - don't let me down Apple!

Integrated camera isn't really useful, I'm glad sony did away with that. If you need a camera, get an iSight, I'm sure that'd be Apple's methodology as well (ex. if you need an FM tuner or built in mic, don't look to our iPods)

X-Brite is quite nice IMO, but that's just my opinion.

iSight is not practical on the go. This computer has EDGE, so you could videoconference anywhere (of course, for the bandwith EDGE has, you could just use a phone).

About X-Brite: if I wanted to look at myself and not what's on the screen, I would use a mirror, not a computer. It's just marketing crap.

I dislike reflective screens. With a light behind you, you get this annoying reflection that makes it impossible to see things on your screen clearly.

The thing about the 11" widescreen is that there is more width, so it should be possible to have the same keyboard without any shrinkage, it'd just be narrower.

Yeah, but wider would mean a smaller palm rest area to place your hands while you're tying. THat's why if Apple goes widescreen, I hope they don't make it a 12" widescreen and go with the 13". A 12" PB has small enough palmrests as it is. Imagine if they made it smaller. My hands would slip off.
