New releases today, including an XDR version.

What are your thoughts?

My opinion is this truly solidifies my decision to go with an iMac as one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life when it comes to computing. The iMac is now and even more extraordinary value.

I waited two years for this announcement, only to be completely disappointed. What is Apple thinking? $3,599 for an upgraded 27 inch with nano glass? Why didn’t they upgrade it with those specs for the same price as before? Or why isn’t it 32 inch for that price?

One question, other than my rant: if I pair one of these with a new, M5 Max Mac Studio, will it have Face ID? I don’t want to run an Apple keyboard just for the fingerprint function.

Takes a special company to go from 32" 6k monitor to 27" 5k, charges over 3k (for a 10 year old display technology) and calls it innovation

I think it's wild that they still haven't added a second input on these monitors. Like every single other monitor on the market usually has two or three, even the bargain basement $100 stuff. Even two for the obvious use case of a desktop + work laptop or something would be a huge improvement.
