Agreed. But talking about possible reasons and even possible solutions is a lot better than whining about it, which is what the majority of people are doing right now.

I now firmly believe the whole holding the phone thing is crap.

I have had 3 dropped calls tonight, of course I've only made 3....

2 of them the phone was on speaker sitting on my chest as I leaned back typing on the laptop.

Exactly how it is right now waiting for Apple.

The other time was walking around the house speaking with a customer. Had to call her back 3 times in the course of 10 minutes.

Every time it was silence then a drop.

While calling AT&T I get moments of silence, then it comes back.

Apple is making it seem more and more likely that we won't be getting an official statement.
They're just hope it blows over and we forget out iPhones are expensive iPods.
