I really miss the GRAB app. I can't find a replacement so far. Whit is it called or can I get GRAB back. It's an app I use almost every day.

Was it not just for screenshots? Have you tried;

⌘⇧3, for entire screen.
⌘⇧4, (for cross hairs with an area you drag across).
⌘⇧4, (for cross hairs with an area you drag across). Then press and hold ⇧ again to lock the Y axis.
⌘⇧4, (for cross hairs with an area you drag across). Then press and hold ⌘⇧ again to lock the X axis.

More or less, yes. But you could just lasso a part of the screen or anything in between. The suggestions above are new to me. I haven't poked around much in the get acquainted area. Thank you very much for helping.

⌘⇧4, then press the space bar. The cross hair will turn into a camera, that allow you to take snapshot of any window easily.

Oh yes, forgot about that one. I use it regular.
Later today I may even try it with every other key to see if the lasso is present.
