New To Apple World

    Hi everybody

    I am Ekram

    I am completely new to the Apple World, i read a lot about it but never experienced it until i got my new iphone 3gs
    and for me it is really wonderful and worth the hype
    i have some questions i hope you can answer them and i will appreciate it very much

    1- what is the future of Mac regarding the competition between Mac, Windows & Linux

    2- to be able to write iphone apps, which programming languages should i learn first

    3- which programming language i can use on mac

    4- is mac mini a good start, how good it is

    5- what are the perquisites i should have to learn Cocoa

    If you're just starting out, a Mac mini will be just fine.

    i want the personal opinions of people on who will be the winner between Mac vs Windows vs Linux both now and future

    Youre asking a windows vs mac (it should be PC VS MAC btw) on a mac website. Youre not going to get much unbiased responses here.

    My opinion: There will be no winner now or in the foreseeable future. All three will be around for some time to come. Plus, you are taking a very complex topic and trying to boil it down to a simple answer. That ain't gonna work. That's why I asked what specifically was your concern.

    i am puzzled i don't know which programming language i should start with
    i have the programming basics and i know some c# but i want to go to the next level

    if i want to be mac developer
    how i should start and what language i will need to start off
    and is it really mac jobs are limited
