new to apple

Hi

im looking forward too buy a imac 27.. im complet new to apple beside ipod i have one pc most of my life now i want to swap to imac???? is it a good thing? i play some game and most of the time is for internet use? what do you think? help me for my first apple buy

hey duffygmc! An iMac is perfect for browsing the internet and playing some games. I myself have no problems playing games like The Sims 3, World of Warcraft and Civilization 5 on my base model 21.5" mid 2011 iMac with graphics at medium or higher. If you're into games that need higher frame rates, then you might want to consider avoiding the base model. If you're just doing stuff like Bejeweled, then any will do.

So the biggest question to me is, what games are you planning on playing?

THis is very good advice, I don't know how much data you use, but if it's possible to get a ssd I'd highly recommend it.
