I'm soon to get a new iPad2 3G.

My first ever iPad😀

My question is:

Can I use my iPhone sim in it to get data? Or can it be made to work?

Yes you can put an iPhone sim in the iPad, but you need to first go to unlockit.co.nz, choose your carrier, and install the costum API settings.
