Hey everyone. I am new to iPhone (I have switched from android) and I love my new iPhone 6 Plus. My question is this. I have seen so many things online about the phone bending in people's pockets. I have mine in a case and carry it around in my front pocket at times during the day. Surly this won't hurt the phone... but I wanted to know from those of you who have experience with iPhones.... should I not put it in my front pocket when I am walking around or is this something that has been blown out of proportion??? Sorry.. I know that this bend issue is old news... just couldn't find any info on if the front pocket was safe to carry the phone around in.

I carry mine in my pockets and mine is not bent. I use an Apple Leather Case some of the time, but mostly it goes case-less.

To give you some added peace of mind, I've had my 6+ since December with no case and carry it only in my front pocket.

I just checked by placing it face down on my desk and zero wobble. Same with the phone on its back with the camera hanging over the edge.

I really don't understand what people were doing to bend their phones. Not saying people are lying, I iust can't imagine how this happens.

Thanks for the reply... I really don't understand that either.. I figured that it would be fine putting it in the front pocket.. Apple has to have better sense than to build a phone that would bend in someones front pocket. Just needed some piece of mind because I didn't want to mess up a wonderful phone.

I'm surprised this is still talked about.

It's a non-issue. I carry my naked 6+ in my front left pocket all day every day. Just exercise common sense when you sit down (occasionally, I'll shift it at a slight angle if my pants are a tighter fit so the phone isn't fighting the bend of my body -- but you'd be inclined to do that anyway, it'd be uncomfortable otherwise) and don't rest super heavy things against it when you carry them. Basically, the no-brainer kinds of things you'd do anyway.

It's not a non-issue. I got my launch day and had it in loose chinos the next day and it is very slightly bent in the upper left corner. When I put it face down there is a wobble. It's very hard to see but it is there. i do not sit down with it in my pocket anymore.

Sitting on any phone risks damage. I only ever have it in my front pocket.
