I just got a iphone 6 verizon off craigslist. I was wondering can i just put a stright talk sim inside and work or do i need to unlock. I know this probley asked million times but im getting confused thanks again

Verizon LTE capable phones are unlocked out of the box per agreement with the FCC. You're good to go.

Run an IMEI check to ensure that the phone isn't blacklisted (though you should've done this prior to purchase and likely won't make much of a difference now).

Yes, a Staright Talk SIM should work. As was already mentioned, VZW phones worked with anyone.
