New to Mac and IPad, app stor question

So I have downloaded a few apps. Netflix and angry birds just install an icon and on my screen and no problem.

But I downloaded zinio and IBooks and they show up for a second and then disappear.. In the app store they show as installed but I can't find them to access.

..???????

Thanks in advance if you know what I am doing wrong.

Swipe to the left and in the spolight search for them.
If Still you cannot find them, maybe they installation was not properly completed. Try re-installing them.
If that doesn't work connect it back to your computer and try the installation from the computer.
Maybe you need to update all the software to be able to run those apps.

I had a similar problem of having iBooks show up as installed but was not showing up.

Try simply powering the device fully off, with the Slide to power off function. And see if they appear.
