New to Mac, need advice

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole macbook thing but I was wondering as to whether I should buy one now or wait. Im not sure when or if a new model is coming out but I can get the 2.26ghz 13' model for 1175CDN flat right now. should i go for it?
 
I would say thats a pretty good deal. I paid $1000 US flat for my Macbook Pro and used the money I saved to upgrade the ram and hard drive.
 
money is an issue up to a certain extent, if a new model drops within the next few weeks will they be priced in and around 1200CAD, or will the new models come in at 1500+
 
The prices will stay the same.

So if the current 2.26 13" MBP is $1200, then the new one will be $1200 too, just with better specs.
 
if its the same it looks like im waiting, i looked at a few sites and rumors are that a new macbook pro is ready to drop within a few months at the latest. looks like ill be using my ****** desktop til then.

Title of your post says macbook. It was upgraded in October 2009.

You now say macbook Pro! Which is it?

The macbook pro is due for an upgrade and the rumors suggest in the next few weeks.

sorry for the mix up, its the macbook pro. im new to this whole thing so I didnt know there was a macbook
