and how come u can't CUT and PASTE a file thats in applictions under finder or in downloads or documents etc.
You can't cut and paste files. It makes no sense. If you cut a file and fail to paste it what happens to it? It's deleted?

This has been discussed here a million times, I kind of agree with you, although both points of view should be respected. It's a question of usefulness versus consistency. Anyhow, another discussion surely won't help it, so no point in talking about any more. Not actually...this is one area where windows is better...IMO
Being able to "cut and paste" files makes it easier to move files around...much better than having to click and hold while at the same time navigating through folders to find the correct folder to move the files to. In windows, if you cut, but dont paste, the file stays in its original place. Files only moves when you paste. So cut is almost like telling the file...I'm gona move you to a new home, so be prepared and gather all your things to take along...but only move when I yell "paste"...else stay where you are! (sense a bit of programming code there?)
Think its much better to have the option to go cut, then navigate until you find the folder you want to move the files to, and then go paste...easy peasy
Just my 2 cents...
btw is there a program like Microsoft paint?
