New to MacOS - FPS games??

I am new to using MacOS (got a mini m4 16gb) and want to ask experienced MacOS gamers if there are any decent FPS native Mac games out there?

Sometimes good games are obscured by a title 🙂

When you say FPS, you mean like Doom, or do you mean like Cyberpunk2077?

If you look for Andrew Tsai on YouTube he has tested a lot of games on MacOS. Also there is the Apple Gaming Wiki which has more information.

Like Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein series, COD series, Dishonoured et al

There are not many FPS's like those (I'd argue dishonered is more RPG like). I think @Homy may know of some that are macOS native.

https://www.macsourceports.com/ has source ports of some of the Dooms/Quakes. You'll need the files from elsewhere like Steam/GoG/disc.

Yeah probs (re Dishonoured) but from what I've seen, RPGs (that are not "cartoon" like in appearance) are few and far between also 🙁

Nice! Will need to research how to actually install and run them, but it's a good start I think 🙂

If you mean pure FPS where you just run around and shoot stuff Prodeus, Dusk and Combat Master come to mind. Otherwise you have Bioshock 1-2 Remastered, Borderlands 2-3, Cyberpunk, Deus Ex MKD, Dead Island 2, Dying Light and Metro series.
