scudder2u you mention in your post activation issues when switching back and forth between OS X and Windows if you follow this when installing fusion you avoid any authorizing issues & that call to Microsoft

1 Authorise in windows in bootcamp
2 Install fusion
3 Install tools
4 Authorise Windows again

Neil,
Im sorry I wasnt more clear. My post was getting a bit long in the tooth.

I meant switching between Parallels and Fusion when trying the trial versions of both.

my new mac pro only takes 30 seconds to restart in either OS - Boot Camp works great.

you know - you do need to leave your computer for a few seconds every few hours no? bathroom? food? futurama?

😀

Realistically tho, what benefit does that have over a program like Parallels or VM Ware?

Boot Camp is perfect for gaming! 🙂 I'm sure everybody agree with that!
But in fact, I don't oppose Boot Camp to Parallels or VMWare. I just use them both (Parallels + Boot Camp).
Boot Camp serves me for gaming and Parallels for working. Perfect duet! 😉
