I have a 2009 MP flashed to 5,1 running a Zotac GTX 750ti with the web drivers. Recently I found locally a Mac edition GeForce GTX 680. Its at a reasonable price but I am unsure if it's worth the upgrade. I still have the GT 120 in my Mac so if need be for a boot screen I can use that card. Do I keep the 750 or change for the 680.

I had a 4Gb GTX680 in my old MP and it was bloomin awesome.

I think you will find that the 680 will smoke the 750 for gaming

Go for the mac edition; you will have boot screens.

you can just grab a normal PC 680 if you want and DIY flash it
or a 670 and not flash it. (you dont need to flash a 680 a normal pc one is fine)

but only if you need more speed, then you also have to look at the new rx460 if your on 10.12

I would grab the 680, then you can pull out the 120 and 750. You will have a better GPU and gain an open PCIe slot that can be used to add a blade SSD, usb 3.1 or anything else you might need.
[doublepost=1486720625][/doublepost]BTW, I have a flashed EVGA GTX680 in my 5,1. Love it!

Well I already have a usb 3.0 and usb 3.1 card in the system. I am leaning towards taking it and like I said the price is pretty good. Got the 750 because it is low powered so I think I will need cables if I do take it.

You will need two mini 6 pin to 6 Pin cables. I grabbed mine on eBay

You won't regret the upgrade.

Cheapest cables work as well as the most expensive ones. Pretty sure there's only 1 manufacturer for the Mini Fit Jr. connector on the motherboard, and even 20 AWG wire won't have much voltage drop since it's a fairly short length.

Well I think I will pick it up tomorrow. It does free up a pcie slot and has boot screens. May try and resell the Zotac card. I am assuming since it's a mac version it will be good until I can no longer get os updates own this machine.
