My sister has the same issue.

Android. They charge her extra for Tethering. What a bunch of BS. It's your internet. Why does it matter how you use it?

If they go over 5GB in a one month, take them back to EDGE until the billing cycle restarts.

If you're not downloading torrents and doing that stuff, 5GB is enough. In a normal month if I'm not downloading something I do 1-3GB.

Also, if Apple REALLY did small updates, it would be awesome. I don't have WiFi in my house, so when I connect to iTunes it still wants me to download 800MB for an iPhone update.
 
Thanks again for at the chatter. All good points. So, no, I'm not going to tether. Too risky. I use 5-8G a month with my aircard because watching video links online eats up bandwidth. My phone can cable to the tv to watch Netflix, yay for me and my unlimited plan. And right now, Clear is not in the more rural areas and I live rurally. I live in America, so whining about how wonderful it is in other countries is pointless...
