256GB SSD could push the MSRP back to $3K again, if such a module even exists. I'll be more thrilled if they manage to fit the intel X18-m, with the 34nm 80/160GB on the Air.

I think a new high-end MBA with 256 GB SSD would probably be around $2199. That would be $400 more than the 128 GB SSD. That makes a lot of sense and we have read about 1.8" 256 GB SSDs being under development for a year since the 128 was introduced.

If this doesn't happen by November I fear the MBA could take a wrong turn towards more portability and less power. The MBA is amazing to me because it's capable of being my primary Mac.
 
Well after having my air for a day, I can happily say this thing is flawless! The HDD if perfectly fine for my usage and is quick and runs smooth. I have no fan issues it hardly ever spools, even watching youtube. I don't have any choppy video issues or anything. I love it! :) Here are some pics even though you guys probably don't care lol.
