I reciently bought an iMac G4 for work (a school) and instantly fell in love. I've only used it for about two weeks but already am falling in love with it's stability.
I've been a network administrator for some time now and I currently administer a 200 PC and 1 Mac network. Hopefully the latter number will grow somewhat. It's quite odd to be a "newbie" with a computer. I once booted into OS9 and it took me some time to find the way out, I was thinking all along how silly it was.
It's odd to look for the logical place for things. Like in AppleWorks it took me forever to find the "Page setup". In windows it has always been under "file", but if you stop and think about it...why is it under "file"? You aren't changing the file format when you change your margins.
I can say all future purchases from my school will be Macintosh.
Hey, by the way are there any tips or tricks I should know about?
Thanks,
MrPepsi
