iPhone New to this Please Help

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but really require an answer ASAP!

I have an Iphone 4s one O2, i used it to activate the iphone.
This then allowed me to use absinthe 2.0.4. The jailbreak was successfull I found cydia worked.
I wanted to use another sim card, once a different sim card is inserted, the phone reboots and requires activation again?
I thought once it was jailbroken i could use any sim?

Is there any more steps i require?

Jailbreaking is not unlocking.
They are different operations.

Best unlock is an IMEI unlock, check your carrier for unlock options or a grey market dealer.

check your carrier as recommended you can not downgrade your baseband. I highly recommend you read up on jailbreaking and unlocking it only benefits yo.

I just told you jailbreak tools (like Redsn0w) do not unlock.
Besides, anyone selling them is a scammer since they are all free from hackers.

You cannot change the baseband on your phone.

If you read the final sentence of my original post, I already gave you what you need to pursue.
