Hey guys. I've decided to create a website for my small business and want to use it as an opportunity to educate myself on web design. Can anyone recommend some good books for learning HTML, CSS, and just web design in general? I have SOME experience with Adobe's Dreamweaver so I'm considering picking up CS4. Thanks for any insight you mat have to offer.. :)

Dreamweaver is incredibly easy to use. I suggest starting with iWeb, and publishing to MobileMe (host). Dreamweaver has a freestyle mode that is not very demanding in terms of code. A good online resource would be this site. I think starting off with iWeb and then moving on to code a simple test site using a text editor and HTML would be ideal for you. Dreamweaver is more professional and I do not recommend learning the basics of web design and starting with Dreamweaver CS4 right off the bat. Start off simple and work your way up.
