The plastic covering that flaps out when it's plugged in, is too easy to pull back so a small toddler with wet fingers could quite easily plug itself into the mains.
Really? How do you know? Have you used one? Do you know how hard or easy it is to pull back? And do you realise that from the plug going inward, the first part of the pins are insulated anyway - so you couldn't get flesh-on-metal even with the flaps fully pulled back.
wet fingers + any electrical socket are a bad idea. This plug is no better or worse in that regard.
