If you can wait till September when the AWU4 comes out, I would hold off before purchasing a new Apple Watch. At this point you have tolerated your Series 10, if you can hold off I would wait. It might be worth it if the AWU4 has what has been rumored . . .
The rumored specifications include:
- Design: Thinner titanium chassis and slimmer bezels for improved everyday wearability while retaining durability.
- Performance: An S11 chip for faster processing and better power efficiency, which may push battery life beyond 48 hours.
- Health & Sensors: A new eight-sensor ring on the back that gathers multi-point data, enabling blood pressure monitoring and advanced cardiovascular alerts.
- Security & Features: Potential Touch ID integration and advanced satellite capabilities, including possible Apple Maps support.
- Software: Powered by watchOS 27, integrating Apple Intelligence and a dedicated new Siri app
It comes down to what is important to you when you upgrade from your Series 10 Apple Watch. 👍 I'm waiting to see if the rumored health and sensors actually enables blood pressure monitoring. If so then I will make the upgrade from my AWU2 to the new AWU4.
