New update coming: Aug 9th?

iTunes states that there will be an update check on August 9th; does this mean there's a good chance that an update is upon us? I'll put money down that there is one.
 
And i'll gladly take that money.

I thought iTunes checks on a weekly basis or some variant like that. This is simply telling you when it will next check for an update.

ditto that date means nothing and its different for every person.
 
I might point out that this is not the first thread like this. iTunes checks for updates once a week. That doesn't mean there will be an update that day. I have a feeling these threads are going to get old quick...

I'm terribly sorry for trying to find an answer to a nagging question. I guess there is no chance at all that there could possibly be an update soon since 1.01 was so heavily advertised before it was released.

What I did was a sin and I'll make sure I pack my underwear before I leave on my trip to Hell.

No need to pack for Hell, just repent and don't do it again 😛.

Are you a man? I need underwear for support for the boys. Why should I make myself suffer more than I need to?

I'll put money down that this thread will be locked by the end of today.
