Never owned an Apple Watch before and after starting exercises I’m looking into getting one.
Have you guys got suggestions? I was wondering weather I should go for the series 11 or SE 3 (tending towards series 11) or if I should wait around for September
Open to your thoughts!

I would consider finding a used SE2/SE3 and see how you like it. Then in September you can look at the new releases and sell the older SE for minimal losses.

Or just get the Series 11 if that's where you're leaning. I believe there are sales on these from some retailers.

Depending on your budget, I would get the 11 (I see it on-sale every now & then). The year-to-year upgrades aren't huge anymore for the main Apple watches - so I doubt the 12 will have huge upgrades when it comes out in September.

With the 11 over the SE, you get a better display, battery life (extra juice for tracking workouts), and a few others sensors/features (ex. ultrawide-band for tracking Find My stuff or your phone, EKG).

The SE 3 is a good value too. I started with an SE to see if I would like it, then graduated to a 10 series.

This. Currently $100 off on Amazon for 46mm. EDIT: and a day later, $70 off. And will be back to normal price down the road, so link is/was "time sensitive".

Similar. 3 when it became the entry level in 2019, SE when I broke my 3, now on 10 which was an Amazon deal last year.

If you can wait till Amazon Prime Days next month (sometime likely around mid-June), I think there’s a chance you could get an Apple Watch for a nice discount. During the 2025 Prime Days last year, Amazon had the 42mm Series 10 for $279, and the 40mm SE2 for $169. And at the time those were the most current models. So fingers crossed the Series 11 and SE3 might see similar discounts this year. And when Amazon cuts the price the other big box stores often follow suit, if you’d prefer to shop elsewhere.
