Why is it that all users who registered on or after September 18 are so negative on Apple and iPhone? Anyone notice the same trend?

Because this is the first time iPhones have been over 4.0'. There are a lot of android natives that came expecting what android has to offer and simply don't realize how the apple system works.

I don't know if I agree with this assessment. I've seen plenty of long time users displeased about this or that.

There is also the possibility people feel they need to come and troll. Equally possible is the fact that some folks simply don;t register until they have an issue.

There's two reasons for that:

1) For the most part, people don't join forums to be positive. They join to find sympathy or prove superiority.

2) Forum veterans know better than to complain on an Apple-centric forum.

If you don't think Samsung hires people to influence forums and social media you're living in a dream world.

This applies to all products, politics and anything where public opinion affects someone's bottom line.

Make your own decisions based on first hand experience.

I know you are joking but honestly, I wouldn't put it past them.
I remember reading years back that this was a documented thing.

I wouldn't expect a general iPhone forum to be where they post. I would expect newsfeeds and the like to be where they post. Those areas of forums get WAYYYY more views than something like this specific section of the forum.

Because Samsung is giving their employees extra money to join MacRumors and tell everyone how bad the iPhone is.
I can get a job with Samsung to simply spend all day trolling forums?

Where do I sign up?! :p

It still is a documented thing between competitors. That and trolls bein trolls. Can you imagine being paid to troll? That's like getting paid to sleep for trolls

Just evil Samsung would do that? If it is happening then you can bet that every company is doing it.

Both apple and android forums are full of people who will defend what they have no matter what real issues their model phone has. I like both android and apple and never had real big issues. Both have their pro' sand con's. People just won't say.....The other guys are good too lol....a lot of dick measuring lol
