New version of Apple TV?

Hello

I do not yet have a streaming device for my tv.

My wife and I both have iphone, however we are a pc based home.

We just got an ipad mini for Christmas. We have two children 2 and 4 and have purchased a few movies from the apple store (I guess its called iTunes).

I've heard about the roku and apple tv and was thinking of getting the apple tv. Question : should we run out and get apple tv now or is a new version coming out in the next 0-6 months and it is better off to wait?

The current Apple TV is only $99 and you can even find refurbed ones cheaper than that online. worst case senrio, the new one comes out. You can just move this to a sencondary TV.

It will not become totally useless, so no worries about buying one now.
