Does anybody have both? I know that the new one uses 2 AA's instead of 3, and has some sort of new power management functionality that allows it to use less batteries. As I understand it, the keyboard goes to sleep and wakes up as soon as you hit a key.

What I am wondering is, whether the new version exhibits any more or less input lag than the old version. I'm also curious if anyone has noticed any other differences. The reason for me asking is that I'm looking to pick one up, and the old version can be had for a bit less. Thanks.

I'm not sure how much response you'll get, as they haven't started shipping the new ones yet. They've only been made available to those who have purchased the new iMacs...

But hey, if mine comes soon, I'll let you know. I picked up an old model from best buy before they sold out (I needed a keyboard to work with). I've noticed a bit of lag, and it's a little frustrating.

Hi. I've noticed that the keyboard hasn't shipped, and I'll be waiting until someone with a new iMac sees this thread, or until you get your keyboard. :)

I have both and the only differences I noticed are that the new one only uses two AA batteries and that they keys have a slightly rougher texture. The feel of the keyboards when typing are identical.
